    Duties

    Van Selling – Retail availability; placing the products at the nearest customer touch point
    Visibility of the Pwani products – On-spot demand creation of the Pwani products
    Promotions – Execute Marketing driven promotions
    Market Coverage – Spend time with the retailer and sell-in the range and introduce the new brands

    Pricing Adherence – Ensure the Pwani products are competitively priced on shelf as per the RRP advised

    The Job:
    We are seeking to fill the position of Group Head of HR who will develop and implement human resource strategies and work practices that enhance organizational capacity and capability, ensure that the organization has optimal numbers of human resources that it requires to deliver its goals and that such staff are delivering to the required standards while promoting a positive work culture.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement HR strategies and plans that reflect evolving business and staff needs
    Develop, implement and communicate HR management policies and procedures, train managers on their application and revise them as necessary.
    Drive the change management process that is currently underway at the respective individual companies through the provision of technical and advisory support to the management team.

    Continually review pay and reward systems that are in place within the company so as to ensure that these remain competitive and affordable.
    Keep abreast of HR management best practice in both the local and international Human resources management field and recommend changes to the EXCO & Board of relevant HR practices to embrace development in the field.
    Provide leadership to the HR team and manage their performance.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Masters degree in Human Resources or related disciplines
    Member of IHRM
    At least five years experience in a similar position.

    Excellent leadership skills
    Solid expertise of industrial relations management and experience of working in labour intensive environments.
    Sound knowledge of labour laws and their application.
