    Job description
    Reporting to the Sales Director, the main purpose of the role is to:
    Manage customer base & revenue growth on both Airtel Mobile and Airtel Money Business.
    Manage and support Airtel distribution partners and staff within the assigned region by planning and coordinating inter and extra departmental activities in order to maximize sales revenues, grow market share, foster distributor effectiveness through routine review meetings, manage company relationship with regional stakeholders to foster excellent corporate governance. Develop and improve skill set for direct reports through continuous coaching and mentoring. Maintain close watch on market dynamics that affect the business and report and keep record on competitor activities

    Skills:

    Qualifications:

    4 to 6 years of varied experience in Sales & Distribution
    At least 2years of relevant experience in Telecom at management level.
    Extensive knowledge of telecoms business and value chain and sound understanding of distribution models and route to market.
    Telecom analytical skills both local and regional
    Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or relevant field (required)
    Master’s in Business Administration (preferred)

    The role is within the Customer Service Division and reports to the Director of Customer Service. Based in Nairobi, there will be frequent travel to other counties.
    Responsibilities include;

    Business Planning – Continually monitors Airtel shops & Airtel franchise managed shops, sales recruitment process to ensure that targets are met and drives the distribution of branding and promotional materials to the shops
    Retail Operations – Implementation & Control of retail operations; grow the Airtel market share/presence within the channel
    Customer Experience – Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction on any request, query, and complaint of walk-ins.
    Management, co-ordination and Support of Airtel Shops – Recruits Airtel shops & Franchise shops and negotiates stocking agreements.

    Qualifications:

    7-10 years’ work experience in retail sales within FMCG or telecom industry
    At least 2 years in Airtel Shops & Franchise Shops and good knowledge of channels is preferred
    Able to handle, prioritize, multiple projects simultaneously and
    IT literacy
    Hands on approach able to operate in a performance driven organization

    Reporting to the Head of Network Operations, the incumbent’s role will include;

    End-to-end planning and delivery of operating expenditure, monitoring and analysis followed by implementation of action plans aimed at optimizing Network operating expenses

    Give inputs on OPEX saving initiatives in conjuction with relevent specialist managers to achive optimised OPEX annual targets.
    Monitoring, analysis and control of various Network operating expenses constituents to achieve Annual Operating Plan targets
    Drive an efficient and cost-optimised Network operations without affecting customer perceived network quality
    Prepare monthly flash & forecast and other periodic reports pertaining to network opex for internal stakeholders
    Conducting pilot studies and trials with partners and contractors for new innovations to achieve optimized network operating expenses
    Deliver on set Network’s Annual Operating Plan operating expenses targets by drafting and running projects leading to opex efficiency

    Qualifications:
