    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production process, ensuring smooth operation, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. You will lead a team of production staff, motivate them to achieve daily targets, and identify areas for improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee the entire production process in your area of supervision.
    Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and food safety protocols.
    Manage and motivate production staff, assigning tasks, providing training, and resolving any issues.
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
    Monitor machine performance, identify and troubleshoot problems, and coordinate maintenance activities.
    Maintain accurate production records and reports.
    Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.

    Qualifications:

    Diploma in Printing Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the paper printing and conversion industry.
    Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
    Strong understanding of paper manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Proficient in MS Office Suite.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing shift production to achieve safety, quality, service, waste, productivity, and culture goals. This entails providing strong leadership to the team and managing system operators, machine attendants, bundlers, and materials in accordance with company policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements schedules.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversee daily production to ensure goals are achieved.
    Monitor products and production to verify conformity to specifications and approved samples.
    Manage daily production schedules, providing recommendations for improved efficiency.
    Evaluate machine and material problems, coordinating with the production head, maintenance team, process engineering, and other relevant parties to solve issues.
    Timely investigate and report when production standards are not met.
    Analyze production information using the production dashboard, job card, and customer-approved samples.
    Foster and support a high-performance culture, promoting a strong teamwork environment.
    Evaluate employee performance, conduct performance reviews, and support employee growth and career development.
    Demonstrate leadership by supervising production employees and proactively addressing employee relations opportunities.
    Interpret and enforce company disciplinary processes consistently and fairly.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Annual contract with renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

    ESSENTIAL REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Strong communication skills.
    Leadership style that encourages team involvement, improved morale, and continuous improvement.
    Ability to handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
    Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to identify and resolve problems using both individual and collaborative approaches.
    Good effective report writing and presentation.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUPERVISORY JOB:

    Diploma holder in either management or engineering.
    At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing industry, preferably the printing industry.
    Computer literate.

    About the role
    Paperbags Ltd looking for a sales administrator who will perform key functions to support sales teams in various ways and also performs office-based administrative duties.
    Responsibilities

    Pipeline Management:

    Maintaining an accurate database of customer information such as billing details, product preferences, and correspondences.
    Processing of invoices.
    Record Keeping of all sites visits made.
    Maintaining accurate and updated records of sales figures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

    Follow-up on orders:

    Preparing estimates upon requests by customers and closely monitoring the progress of on-going customer orders.
    Ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery to customers.

    In-store sales:

    Providing walk-in customer with product samples and catalogs and recommending products to customers based on customers’ needs and interests.

    Administration duties:

    Scheduling appointments to make site visits for both existing & prospective customers for the sales reps.
    Picking and making sales calls and follow up calls
    Any other duty as may be assigned by your manager from time to time.

    Required Qualifications

    A minimum diploma/ degree in business related field or equivalent.
    Competent in computer applications, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
    Customer service experience.
    At least 3 years of experience working as a Sales Administrator in a busy environment

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Minimal customer complaints.
    Meeting delivery targets/timings etc.
    Pipeline management/record keeping accuracy
