    Intern, Backend Developer

    We are seeking an Intern, back-end web developer to join our web application development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the progressive web application. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming languages such as Java, Ruby, and Python.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    Be proficient in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation, management and debugging
    Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
    Create and maintain software documentation
    Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces
    Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
    Maintain, expand, and scale our web application
    Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
    Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent

    Requirements

    A Bachelor of Science in computer science, software engineering, programming, or equivalent (final year students will also be considered)
    Proficiency with languages such as Java, Ruby, PHP, MySQL, SQL, and Python
    Experience creating and running web APIs;
    Experience with databases;
    Experience with cloud-based applications;
    Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
    Experience deployment/management/troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
    Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
    Understanding of object-oriented programming
    Experience with the design and implementation of APIs
    Understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Git, and Mercurial
    Excellent time-management and communication skills

    Key responsibilities

    Work with team to design and build an advanced application for the Android platform
    Collaborate to define, design and deploy new features
    Fix identified and reported bugs to improve application performance
    Work with outside data sources and APIs
    Unit-test code for robustness and general reliability
    Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to optimize application efficiency

    Qualifications

    BSc degree in Computer Science or a related subject
    Proven android skills development with at least one original Android app
    Experience with Android SDK

    Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

    We are looking for a dynamic Web Applications Developer who will be responsible for developing, trouble shooting and maintaining our crowdfunding PWA platform. You will ensure that the PWA meets user technical and visual needs at all times.
    Key Responsibilities

    Familiar with Object oriented JavaScript and Front-end frameworks
    Experience in developing applications using Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3/CSS4 and other UI technologies.
    Experience in building rich PWA applications
    Experience with REST API construction, documentation and architecture
    Experience with parsing and manipulating XML and JSON.
    Good understanding of JavaScript patterns and the challenges involved with creating maintainable JavaScript applications.
    Working knowledge of developing multi-channel, mobile-responsive and mobile-adaptive UI.
    Working knowledge of integrating payment gateways

    Key Responsibilities

    Create user-centered, reusable elements and designs by understanding requirements and translating them to exceptional products
    Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity mockups
    Create user interfaces which follow modern user experience principles
    Gathering user requirements and translating the customer journey into the product
    Follow the organizations’ brand guidelines
    Any other responsibility as assigned by your supervisor

    Qualifications

    A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
    A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
    Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite

    In collaboration with the Digital Marketer, prepare top-tier communication and product materials ready for dissemination through various channels
    Consultatively with the team lead ensure design timelines and deadlines are strictly met
    Implement our corporate identity and brand visually through all design works
    Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logo, website and Playstore

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in graphic design or related field.

    Review and recommend giving campaigns and calls to action that our brand can leverage

    Qualifications

    A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or project management (completed or to be completed)

    1year experience in project management
    Experience with pitching ideas and making solid presentations
