    JOB PURPOSE
    The purpose of the job is to recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet sales targets of M-KOPA products. The role will involve detailed advanced planning to generate a local network to enable you to deliver current and future sales. The majority of the time will be coaching and working with DSRs in the field combined with strengthening local networks of customers while fostering team spirit amongst DSRs. You will also assist with the resolution of customer needs as they arise.
    This will be a demanding, yet personally satisfying role as you develop junior members of the team and sell a product that is upgrading people’s lives.
    Responsibilities

    Achieve and surpass sales targets of M-KOPA products
    Recruit, train, coach, mentor and supervise field based team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet the set targets in line with M-KOPA business goals
    Monitor and evaluate the performance Direct Sales Representatives to meet the performance standards
    Manage DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations in line with M-KOPA audit resolution guidelines

    JOB PURPOSE
    Ensure proper diligence, field investigation, and carrying out disciplinary and/or legal actions with regard to incidents of sales and customer-related fraud, in coordination with the fraud lead, fraud analysts, and legal department.
    KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

    Carry out field and desktop investigations of potential fraud instances
    Conduct due diligence, and collect and report case findings regularly
    Develop proactive strategies in the field to discover cases of fraud
    In coordination with the legal team, manage interactions with law enforcement related to confirmed fraud cases
    Support the team on the closure of all fraud cases within stipulated timelines
    Support the fraud analyst in effecting DSR suspensions and act as a link with the sales team on DSR discipline
    Provide regular actionable feedback from customers, sales agents, and others related to fraud and credit insights that can improve the business

    EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/ LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION REQUIRED

    Certification in a fraud-related discipline, such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
    Knowledgeable in identifying indicators of fraud through data mining and analytical exercises
    Understanding of criminal justice systems and processes
    Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, including customers, law enforcement, staff, etc.
    Professional acting proactively and independently on long stints in the field, often in rural areas
    Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage business expectations with key stakeholders and communicate findings effectively
    A positive, learning-oriented attitude and capacity for self-empowerment
    Five years of work experience in a professional role

You will be responsible for creating, implementing production robotic solutions to improve operational performance, along with trouble shooting production machinery, thus supporting and enhancing system’s capability. Ultimately the role would evolve under an IT business partner lead to support critical processes within the production supply team.
    It is an on-site role in our local phone assembly manufacturing site in Nairobi, Kenya. You will be reporting to the IT System Manager.

    Key Job Functions

    Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics(regulation, compliance, labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
    Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, statements, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
    Provide legal counsel to M-KOPA in connection with on-going contractual relationships with domestic and international suppliers, distributors, regulators, investors, external counsel, public authority.
    To anticipate and manage the(legal )risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations, and devise efficient defense strategies
    To specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance through the management and oversight of compliance across all M-KOPA markets
    Liaise with colleagues and external counsel on litigation, legal advice and other legal issues.

    Daily send of SMSs to customers with phones over SLA via Freshdesk
    Completing IMEI swap requests within 30 min
    Resolve all phones follow up queries within 8hrs

     Requirements

    Bachelors’ degree in any field with a bias in Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
    Conversance with intermediate knowledge of excel i.e. V-LOOK UP, Pivot tables, Formulas, SQL and Power Queries.
    Minimumof1-year professional experience in customer service and stakeholder management will be an added advantage.

    The main purpose of the Mobility Field Collections Officer is to contact customers in arrears to initiate payments and negotiate settlement plans. If agreeable terms cannot be reached, the Collections Officer will initiate escalated collections actions.

    Key Job Functions

    Locate and contact debtors and implement repayment schedules and terms
    Ensure allocated accounts are monitored daily and appropriate actions taken to ensure that the collection portfolio remains within accepted limits through the application of sound credit judgment within policy guidelines.
    Advise debtors on ways of clearing their debts while communicating to them the importance of paying their debts and consequences of non-payment
    Update and maintain tracker of customer conversations by updating the history logs on M-KOPAnet and other relevant database applications.
    Adhere to the set policy on loan recoveries and collections.
    Make recommendations to the Mobility Team, when appropriate, for stronger collection actions including repossession of security.
    Educate the customer on motorbike return policy, advising on money eligible for refund and if no money refundable advice on why that is so.
    Initiate the downgrade/cancellation process on M-KOPAnet to ensure that the cancelled and refund process is completed.
    Work closely with external agencies on debt collection and recoveries
    Reporting and analysis, send a summary analysis of collections/reclaims done daily
    Perform any other related function as assigned by the management from time to time.

    EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/ LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION

    Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related studies
    Previous experience in Debt Collection preferred (at least 1 year)

    Key Responsibilities
     
    Training and development:

    Support creation of relevant annual Learning and Development /training calendar through training needs surveys, assessments, reports and feedback survey.

    Direct Sales Representative (DSR) Recruitment and Retention :

    Schedule orientations and related training events for teams and staff attached to sales.
    Observe sales encounters and determine the training needs for individuals and/or sales teams.
    Ensure timely registration of all newly trained DSR. Help remove blockers and demotivating factors for DSR, creating an enabling environment for DSR support and performance.
    Provide regular candid feedback to Sales teams and other support teams on areas of great work and areas of improvement in DSR support.
    Work towards improved pass rates per cohort.
    Ensure DSR retention within your control and keeping track of DSR exits and ensure monthly system clean up, tracking of active and inactive DSR, coaching for performance improvement or understanding of DSR issues.

    Conduct coaching calls, learning and development interventions like, talks and quizzes as part of engagement and productivity of the field teams.
    Ensure teams are well equipped and up to date with all company information, new processes, ideas, issues, through regular communications.

    Qualification and Experience
     

    At least 2 years working experience in sales environment or related role.  
    Possess excellent knowledge of Industry trend and customers; requirements with a proven track record in meeting and achieving sales targets beyond expectations.  
    Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
