    Data Privacy Counsel Senior Product Manager

    Main Job Responsibilities

    You will undertake privacy program remediation activities, conduct data audits to ensure compliance and provide advice on the impact of data protection efforts.
    You will conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and undertake the assessments following data privacy laws.
    You will identify areas of non or partial compliance with privacy law and rectify any issues.
    You will support implementation of essential elements of the Data Protection legislation, such as the principles of data processing, data subjects’ rights, data protection by design and by default, records of processing activities, security of processing, and notification and communication of data breaches.
    You will review our policies following Data Protection Regulation and codes of practice.
    You will maintain comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by our company, including the purposes of all processing activities.
    You will develop guidelines and templates clauses and contracts for management of several team members and relationships relating to processing of personally identifiable information.
    You will raise awareness, brainstorm internal communications and training plans and provide data protection advice and support for members of staff.
    You will develop external communication plan for privacy awareness for third parties and partners.
    You will support in management and administration of privacy software and data incident response and data breach notification procedures.
    You will monitor industry best practice and trends for privacy and consumer protection to keep training material up to date.
    You will identify and use opportunities to improve the quality of data privacy processes and standards.
    Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization and suppliers involved in processing personal data.
    Support special projects for our company, including privacy certification, audits, new market expansion, legal & privacy compliance.
    Help with data privacy and consumer protection related due diligence, queries for transactions and from team members.

    Experience/ Skills & Competencies/ Licenses & Certifications/ Education Required

    Over five (5) years’ experience working in data protection or privacy compliance.
    Qualified lawyer
    Experience running data privacy operations including data privacy impact assessments, transfer impact assessments, vendor assessments, risk management.
    Experience with data processing operations, including information systems, data security and data protection needs.
    Expertise on Data Protection laws across M-KOPA markets.
    Privacy Related Professional certification (CIPP, CIPT, PECB IEC/ISO 27001, 27701 Implementer or Auditor) an added advantage.

    At least five years’ experience as an EHS professional, with managerial experience.
    Experience performing and overseeing EHS audits, and action plans and maintaining an EHS action and reporting system.

    Main Job Responsibilities

    Inventory management: You will receive, issue stock, and take stock
    Reverse logistics: You will complete phone swap and phone returns
    Sales support: You will acquire and upgrade sales
    Customer service: You will log, troubleshoot, follow up and resolve customer issues and general inquiries
    After-sales service: You will proactively follow-up phone servicing, contact customers, and ensure the customer collects the phone
    Branding: You will ensure that all posters and marketing materials at the depot are in good condition and visible

    Lead on the conceptualization, testing, and optimization of new and existing processes in ways that accelerate sustainable business growth and consumer protection;
    In collaboration with our software product management team, work to deploy automation software to drive more efficiency and accountability across the business
    Lead the department’s insurance offering for customers, from policy structuring to process design to claims processing, as well as accident management and repairs
    Design and manage all logbook operations and administration from start to finish, including liaising with NTSA and setting up processes for serving customers effectively
    Take full ownership of our master list of critical processes, and work with department owners to hold teams accountable for process adherence and compliance

    Draft, review and suggest pricing for our products. This includes managing our pricing model, updating assumptions, managing new pricing requests, and communicating pricing changes.
    Lead the monitoring, analysis and presentation of unit economics’ calculations, including calculation of steady state contribution margins by product category, comparison of actual margins vs. priced expectations, and diagnosis and recommendations for interventions to improve margin.
    Lead our margin analysis model to ensure success on the commercial side of the business to maximize revenues.
    Partner with cost center owners to assist them in monitoring and achieving margin improvements.
    Manage the pricing and margin assumptions in the annual budgeting process and monthly updates to ensure accurate pricing and margin information is used to base decisions for future investment on.
    Oversee the uploading of payments plans and manage communication of pricing details to BI and other teams
