    Purpose of the Job

    Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets in the assigned area
    Develop business and increase profitability of the company in defined geographic area by doing effective sales strategies and implementing sales tactics.

    Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

    Meet monthly revenue, trading profit and budget targets.
    Meet monthly sales and revenue targets
    Manage the whole Kiambu region
    Ensure maximum exploitation of business opportunities in the assigned region
    Develop and update detailed Territory Sales Plan.
    Develop and qualify business opportunities across county.
    Network with key players in company’s target industry sectors.
    Educate the industry and decision-makers regarding the benefits of company products.
    Servicing of company’s potential customer base and maintaining good working relations at all levels within the target clients.
    Generate and receive enquiries, develop proposals, negotiate contracts and secure business.
    Ensure that the sales pipeline remains optimized for continuous business growth.
    Effective use of CRM system.
    Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain customer database.
    Ensure compliance to company procedures including EH&S Best Operating Policy.
    Submit weekly and monthly management reports, sales forecasts and competitive market reviews to Country Sales Manager
    Monitor competitors’ activities and submit competitor info on a regular basis including annual competitor review submission.
    To act at all times as ethical, moral and positive agent of the company.

    Person Specification/Job Requirements

    The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
    Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
    Oral and written English correspondence skills of a high standard
    Effective planning organizational and time management skills
    Analytical thinker and numerate
    Well versed and knowledgeable of the Allocated Area’s market
    Contractual and commercial experience is required
    Business development experience is required
    High level of commitment and loyalty
    Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines
    Capable of working on his/her own initiative

    Qualifications
    Education-

    Bachelor Degree in sales/marketing or any other related field of study

    Skills-

    Sales strategies Excellent Analytical skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, high sense of confidentiality and have ability to meet on the set deadlines.

    Experience-

    Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar position, 2 of which should be Senior Sales Position

    Credit Officer

    What you will do:

    Maintain debtors’ overdue accounts to agreed company performance levels
    Ensure collection of debtor’s accounts occurs within credit terms and according to company policy and procedures
    Provide accurate and timely account collection progress reports from the CRM
    Listen to customer complaints with empathy and take action to satisfy the customer’s immediate needs and prevent the reoccurrence
    Make telephone collection calls and resolve disputed invoices
    Risk review of new and existing customers to minimize bad and doubtful debts
    Monitor credit limits and terms for each customer in line with the Credit Policy

    Must have:

    Excellent relationship management skills
    3-5 years experience in the same capacity in a solar or related company
    Knowledge of credit and credit control activities
    Customer claims and processes
    Strong Excel, written, verbal, negotiation, and communication skills
    Well-organized and efficient
    CPA’s and a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course

    Maintain office facilities
    Track and monitor availability of office supplies
    Ensure all deliveries are received and logged in on time
    Perform general office clerk duties and errands
    Carry out all other activities related to office maintenance and administration support
    Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor or requested by staff.

    Requirements

    Must have a proficient driving license
    Experience in driving for at least 3 years
    Competence in driving both manual and automatic vehicles
    Must have completed up to form four/ high school education

    Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
    Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

    Description:
    A position for an extremely organized person who would like to work in an exciting, renewable energy biogas company. This person will have a finger on the pulse of all internal operations that happen within the company on a daily basis from coordinating installations and management of stock to dealing with customer inquiries.
    Responsibilities: 

    Key user for the Paygo microfinance system software
    Manager of technical team scheduling and planning including arranging installations, problem troubleshooting, maintaining customer satisfaction
    Assuring installations are managed properly and in the promised time frame
    Managing the stock movement – constant up-to-date internal documentation and an understanding of how much stock is available and placement of new orders in advance
    Maintaining and monitoring the department expenses — for travel, field allowances, marketing materials etc
    Preparing initial quotations for clients 

    Requirements 

    Good computer software proficiency and understanding of spreadsheet software
    A diploma of sales and marketing and  2 years related work 
    Fluent in English and Kiswahili. Local dialects are a plus.
    Self-motivated and comfortable working with little direction or supervision
    Excellent interpersonal communication skills
