    Key Responsibilities

    Accompany teams to implement adequate WMS as per IT dept.’s standards and ensure adequate training is given to operations teams
    Ensure SCM BU projects are smoothly implemented and timeously executed as per clients’ request
    Ensure all teams are recruited and trained according to SOPs agreed with the various clients
    Analyze and monitor warehousing KPIs and reporting and put action plans together every month for all sites
    Assist in response to warehouse RFQs in line with best practices
    Build on Supply Chain experience i.e. To capitalize on people, structure, processes, activities…(without re-inventing the wheel repetitively
    Harmonize methods used in the various sites
    Assist in defining procedures, warehousing strategy flows, layout (inbound, pick & pack, storage, outbound, VAS, kitting, reverse logistics, pallet management, product management)
    Always pro-actively look for operational optimization in terms of space, processes, productivity etc.

    An exciting career opportunity has risen in our Sea Exports Department, as outlined below.
    Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Client Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas:-

    Handle the day-to- day operational relationship with the client;

    Receive the orders from the Client (tariffs already validated through a quotation). In case of new business, a new quotation will be issued by Commercial department
    Request for missing documentation and more detailed instructions if necessary from the Client.
    Inform the Client of the file processing progress (standard or specific report, according to quotation)

    Manage file processing;Update the Client and the COM on the file processing progress and update the monitoring software on the status of each file.

    Regularly archive the files (physically & electronically, once a month at least).
    Ensure that Client files have all the required attachments and copies of these maintained on file.

    Alert/Inform Management;

    Alert the Client in case of operational issues (potential or real) and escalate to the COM the issues that you are unable to handle.
    The applicant should possess the following qualifications:-
    3 years relevant experience.
    Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding

    Job Function
    Maintain customer relationships:

    Execute necessary resources of operations are defined by the contractual relationship with customer.

    Manage the operating account of the activities of the perimeter
    Follow dashboards, credentials profession (product, quality) in order to reach the results expected in the contract and budget
    Propose actions for performance improvement in the service level to client
    Manage the different operation teams

    Lead or participate in meetings relating to his scope of work.

    Plan monthly meeting to pilot growth and sales activities

    Lead global tender

    Lead global tenders and participate to sign-off with respective MO parties
    Design and present global tenders to customers with supporting BTL functions and expertise.
    Call on the corporate steering committee to arbitrate financial, sales or operational disputes linked to international contract management.
