    What You Will Do

    Prepare agent shops for KOKOpoint installations through mounting support brackets to walls, drilling holes through walls using specialized drilling equipment, installing electric cables, sockets, earth electrode, routing cables, and hoses to identified points in the shop, and other duties of simple carpentry and welding
    Maintain supply levels of required items through constant tracking and engagement with deployment and store functions
    Ensure good work management of provided work orders, instructions. and schedules to meet daily targets and maintain high quality outputs
    Document installation activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records using provided tools
    Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and performing regular maintenance
    Continuously identify needs for improvement by conveying it to supervisor and engineering team to maintain high quality work standards
    Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements
    Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management System requirements

    Responsibilities

    What You Will Do

    Continuously optimize of management reporting systems to accommodate, support, and anticipate the needs of a fast moving, nimble organization with rapidly expanding operations (in terms of scale and scope)

    KOKO Networks is looking for a Lead Production Engineer to provide engineering oversight of the production of their sophisticated, IoT based products, targeting the household energy space for developing markets. This individual will support the smooth rollout, launch and ongoing operation and improvement of KOKO’s new technology in Kenya, followed by other cities in the region.
    Detailed Responsibilities

    Process Design and Quality Management
    Perform research, design and develop production processes, such as production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
    Design and manage processes to ensure the Quality Assurance of received constituent parts has been met (inbound QA)
    Oversee the assembly of the KOKOpoints. This includes the testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies from an engineering quality perspective
    Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
    Coordinate and document all Advanced Product Quality Planning activities
    Support the Production Operations Manager in creating staffing plans based on production forecasts
    Lead the process of continuous improvement in processes, products, components, raw materials, and equipment
    Manage the quality of maintenance and repair work according to the required standards
    Maintenance Management and Product Improvement
    Own the database of issues, and ensure that all information collected has been properly understood to make sure correct action is taken in the field
    Give input to product design based on field learnings from production and maintenance operations
