    Your Role
    We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead the development of firmware for KOKO’s IoT based hardware platforms that provide our customers with smart delivery of fuel and other goods through our unique last mile distribution network. As such you will play a key role in enabling KOKO’s long term success, including our expansion to new markets. 
    In this position on the engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to and add value across multiple KOKO’s products, at different stages of the product life cycle, and be part of the wider engineering team in delivering best-in-class solutions.
    What you will do

    Develop the embedded software that powers our network hardware and the tools that enable us to test, build, diagnose and repair them.
    Collaborate cross-functionally with electronics engineers, software engineers, product managers, and others to integrate embedded software into products.
    Support existing devices and manage firmware improvements in our installed networks
    Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in the functionality of our systems
    Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
    Deliver new features to production environments and support them in operation
    Participate in building the engineering culture at KOKO

    What You Will Bring to KOKO
    Other skills:

    Strong, proven experience coding (5+ years) and good design principles in C/C++ for embedded systems
    Solid and demonstrable understanding of Linux and programming for Linux (e.g. Raspberry Pi)
    Experience programming in both RTOS and bare metal environments
    Ability to developing and debug low level protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI) and higher level communication protocols (e.g. BLE, USB)
    Strong troubleshooting skills for investigating reported issues, debugging and fixing field problems
    Knowledge of IoT “edge” device development and strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP, MQTT) and interfaces (TCP/IP, TLS)
    Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines

    Your Role

    As a warehouse clerk, you will be responsible for accounting for physical stock of finished products and ensure best practice in stock management systems to enable traceability, accurate picking and avert any stock losses and damages within and around the warehouse.

    What You Will Do

    To manage accurate stock transfers during the receipt of inbound shipments into the warehouse and from the warehouse to loading.
    Monitor stock movement in the warehouses and ensure effective product tagging and issuing procedures are followed at all times.
    Supervise the picking of products to loading and ensure that loaders adhere to the picking lists as generated from the system.
    Facilitate stock movement in the warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stocks for ease of stock count and independent verification.
    Ensure the warehouse is regularly cleaned, maintained and stock well stacked.
    Ensure that all relevant procedures, SOPs and routines are followed and adhered to in line with the company policy, procedures and requirements.

    Professional qualification KISM ,CIPS are an added advantage.
    Minimum 1 years work experience or internship in a busy distribution set up.

    Your Role

    What you will do

    Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
    Develop deep product and domain knowledge of KOKO’s systems.
    Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
    Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
    Design, develop and execute automation scripts using automation tools.

    Hands on programming skills in any one of Java, Python or JavaScript.
    Experience in testing REST APIs.
    Knowledge of database architectures and data models used in the relevant product.

    A minimum of 2 years experience in field operations or a similar technical capacity.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent written and spoken technical English.

    Type 6 License from Weights and Measures will be an added advantage

    What You Will Do

    Frequently conduct HSE risk audits for various departments as outlined in the HSE strategy making sure that suggested controls are mitigated
    Ensure that HSE legal requirements and other requirements are complied with at all times including coordination with external authorities
    Measuring, reviewing and reporting of HSE performance in the region, this will include leading and lagging indicators
    Coordinate and conduct statutory and nonstatutory HSE trainings and measuring effectiveness for continuous improvement
    You shall influence a positive safety culture and behavior in a dynamic environment by mentoring, coaching and inspiring stakeholder to do the right thing when no one is watching them, promoting leadership visibility and leading by example
