Student-centered and customized STEM education for computational thinking skills
Our STEM education is driven by computer science. However, it is not to nurture students to be programmers or robot engineers, but to allow students to develop computational thinking skills. It leads our students to learn algorithms, computing systems, data analysis, networking through the internet, programming and invention, and to create a social impact. We enhance the natural talents of our students by equipping them with critical thinking and enables them to become future innovators and idea makers.
Based on EMCAST’s specialty and by its STEM research team, Tinker Education has created student-centered, customized education with the technical support of powerful e-learning allowing students to study at their own pace anytime. In addition, students learn and collaborate in the classroom along with the teacher and fellow classmates.
Furthermore, Tinker Education strives to develop equal and quality education with the integration of ICT in education in East Africa. For this purpose, we expand our partnerships with various stakeholders from public and private sectors, and conduct educational activities in rural areas starting within Kenya and Tanzania.
