Roles for the Senior Technician Job
Conduct tool and die setup, changes, maintenance and storage
Responsible for ensuring the production line tools, equipment and infrastructure are functioning well including managing a maintenance plan and maintaining an appropriate level of spares
Provide training and leadership to ensure Junior Technician(s) have guidance and ability to conduct maintenance on production tools, equipment and infrastructure
Provide training to line operators as needed
Keep records of all machinery and equipment
Ensure a safe and organized shop workspace
Always act as a positive representative of the company and consider environmental implications in the factor
Senior Technician Job Requirements
Mechanical Background. Technician for at least 3 Years
A good communicator
A team player
A hands-on person
Experience in maintenance of production equipment
A fast Learner
At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
