Sales & Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets

The objectives of this job will be met through the following tasks;
Formulate the strategic operational objectives for the Sales and marketing function in line with the overall corporate plan.
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
Coordinate with administration, commercial and factory departments to ensure timely orders, and smooth function of action in the system.
Responsible for revenue generation across products and regions and ensure yields across products through sales staff
Develop and execute brand management plans for the various products
Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
Coordinate and manage content management and information sharing among departments, divisions and external customers and divisions.
Create and enhance agency and partner relationships
Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions
Develops annual sales strategies for a company
Qualifications for the Sales & Marketing Manager Job
Bachelors Degree from recognized University
3 – 5 years work experience in sales and marketing at managerial level
