Job responsibilities:
Developing business strategy and plans for the E&W Africa region
Implementing the business plans and ‘go to market’ strategies to ensure profitable and sustainable growth across the portfolio of products & brands. Setting targets, allocating resources and tracking performance.
Developing teams to executive the strategies – building a high performance organization in E&W Africa.
P&L responsibility for the region – ensure the sales and margin targets are met both on a short term and long term basis.
Dealer/Channel Management in E&W Africa:
Build & Establish the dealer / distributor network
Analyse and review the existing network for sustainable growth and profitability
Regular training and development of the distribution channel
Maintain relationship with relevant key people within the dealers/distributors
6. Acquire knowledge of critical information relating to business. Key areas such as
Market size, market share, key product category business (actual and potential) and
competitor activities.
7. Working with appropriate SBD support teams to establish the required business and
organization infrastructure to support rapid growth.
8. Relationships with key internal and external partners
Job requirements:
Post graduate management degree
Preferably 10 – 15 years of experience in general management – sales
Relevant experience in sales in Multinational Company
Strong ability to respond positively under pressure
Good communication skills
Result oriented, self-motivating and excellent team player
Analytical skills
PC and MS Office skills
