Duties and Responsibilities
Planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting on the following project matters
Preparation of project implementation plans and ensuring adherence to them
Advise on contractual arrangements and tender procedures to be followed
Coordination of project designs
Cost estimates, cost plans, management of project scope and changes
Preparation and presentation of tender and contract documentation
Managing tendering and negotiations
Project scheduling and planning activities
Planning and managing meetings and taking minutes of meetings
Preparation and submission of regular progress reports
Preparation and presentation of post-contract documentation
Perform project management and coordination roles
Planning and implementing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) on projects in accordance with HH Quality Management System
Contract administration and other Post Contract activities and services including close outs.
Involvement in resolution of issues
Management of Defects Liability period activities

Qualifications
Academic
Bachelors and/or Master of Science/Arts (MSC/MA) in the relevant discipline.
Technical training in building and civil engineering construction preferred
Specialized training in project management will be an added advantage
Professional
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Engineering faculties.
Registration with BORAQS or ACEK as Quantity Surveyor, Architect or Engineer.
Membership in Professional Societies such as AAK, IQSK, IEK
Required Experience
Must have minimum of 8 years or relevant experience in the area of specialization and Minimum 4 years as Project Manager.
Relevant Skills
Use of computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, MS Project and Primavera Project Planner
Bid documents preparation and checking skills.
Possess proficiency in use of other technical software and applications such as WinQS, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD etc.
Have strong management skills including leading and coordinating project teams, negotiating and problem solving.
People skills including interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and report writing skills.
Knowledge of contract management and administration.
