Program Analyst/Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1.1         Monitoring
Assist in development of project monitoring plan (PMP) of the projects in line with project logical framework in close consultation with programme team and partners
Ensure quality of  data is collected
1.2         Evaluation
Assist in conducting Programme Data Review
In collaboration with other donor requirements, review the organization’s existing approaches and advice on any required changes, support and resources.
1.3         Training
Build staff capacity on M&E plans and tools and ensure the plans and tools are adhered to
1.4         Reporting and Documentation
       Provide feedback to management on projects’ performance based on monitoring data findings
Review programs’ reports on a monthly basis
1.5         Representation
 Representing HIAS in various external meetings as advised
Education Qualification Required
A Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
2 years’ experience in extensive monitoring and evaluation of projects related to social sciences, humanitarian and human rights or development work
Experience in proposal development and project implementation
Ability to work well in a team
Demonstrated skills in data collection, data analysis, documentation, data interpretation, and reporting
Knowledge in computer based data analysis applications and/or computer based project management applications
Impressive analytical and writing skills
