RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Products Agent includes but is not limited to:
Developing a category product line and enhancing existing products.
On-boarding new brands, vendors, and products.
Getting new products as soon as the suppliers have them.
Negotiating product prices and payment terms.
Handling relationships with new and current suppliers.
Ensure product population on the website and maintain accurate and complete product related information.
Identify process improvements to achieve goals related to product marketing and customer service.
Having an accurate knowledge of competition.
Provide competitive analysis on various vendors’ market offerings; identify market trends, pricing or business model.
Analyzing consumer buying behavior and predicting future trends.
Getting the periodic electronics products promotional material from the suppliers.
Work with Managers and marketing teams to ensure that products and services meet customers’ current and future needs.
Responsible for pricing products in liaison with purchasing and finance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
At least a C+ (Plus) grade in High School/KCSE.
At least a diploma degree for attended training (not distance/online) on either information science, information technology/computer science, business or a related field.
Exceptional commercial awareness of the electronics field.
Must be proficient with PCs and Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Must be an advanced internet user.
Must be willing to engage in field work.
Willing to work on weekends.

Proficiency in oral and written English.
