Roles for the Pipe Fitter Job
Should be able to read individual service drawings as well as coordination drawing.
Should be able to understand the type of pipes,sprinkler& accessories and its type of joints.
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Installation of sprinkler system,fire pump and fire suppression.
Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, and hanger etc. as per shop drawings.
Cut and bore holes in pipes for groove fittings etc using hand and power tools
Job Context: Define organizational policy and other factors that have a critical impact on the job
Pipe Fitter Job Qualifications
2 year course in ITI as pipe fitter
Minimum Experience 5 years
Civil defense technician approval
Knowledge of UAE fire code
