Annually, twenty (20) students with an average grade of B- (minus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) from needy families benefit through scholarships awards to pursue Diploma Programs of their choice in our campuses. Within the period, more than seventy (70) students have graduated under the program and already in employment. The selection process is highly structured to ensure that the program yields objectivity. Currently, the students are recommended from local churches and secondary schools.
Student Council
Student leadership development is the process of involving students in meaningful ways both in and beyond classroom. It is providing opportunities for students to demonstrate their talents, skills and interest while continuing to develop new skills. It is also about giving students more ownership of the programmes they attend. NIBS student council gives students an avenue to improve and strengthen college programmes and activities in ways that the management cannot do alone. Students bring new energy and ideas on how college activities can be improved.
The council provides opportunities for students to get involved and learn skills that can be transferable to the work place or community empowerment.
Election of representative
Council members are democratically elected through universal suffrage of one student one vote.
