The Executive Order No. 1 of June 2018 (Revised) created three (3) State Departments in the Ministry namely: State Department for Public Service; State Department for Youth; and State Department for Gender. The Ministry plays an important role of providing policy direction and management of the human resource function in the public service as well as promotion of gender equality, empowerment of women and youth. The mandate, functions and responsibilities of the Ministry are provided in the Executive Order No. 1 of June 2018 (Revised).
