Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities
Lead the development of policies and systems to support to support an efficient and functional marketing framework
Initiate, develop and maintain sound and mutual relationship and network with relevant public bodies and institutions critical to the success of support functions
Develop comprehensive annual marketing and brand budgets for approval and allocation. Ensure compliance with approved budgets within assigned departments including prudent and timely spending
Ensure timely reporting of performance and activities of assigned functions. Marketing, Sales and Customer Service responsibilities
Lead the marketing team i.e. graphic designer and digital marketer
Develop work plans, market segmentation and sales strategies for implementation by the sales team
Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans
Review the current organizational products and services and make recommendations that will meet the targeted market share
Overall responsibility for efficient customer service levels
Coordinate activities that attract new clients and facilitate relationship building with existing clients
Determine new marketing opportunities
Lead in creation and development of online advertising, e-marketing, corporate videos for social media pagesStay well informed in new market trends and analyze customer and competitor behavior
Participate in the gathering, analyzing and interpretation of data from competitors, customers and wider market
Initiate the development of surveys, market research and analysis and implement findings
Advice the Directors on market potential based on analyzed data
Develop and manage marketing tools for existing and new clients including social media and marketing materials
Organize and oversee the coordination of company events i.e. exhibitions among other events that will enhance visibility of target clients
Represent the company on meetings, conferences, workshops and other forums to promote and articulate issues relevant to the client when called upon
Manage and coordinate production of marketing materials including billboards, road signs, print media, business cards, brochures and other marketing items
Coordinate effective distribution of marketing material to clients, partners and target audiences
Liaise and oversee 3rd party suppliers including creative agencies, researchers, developers, designers, printers and branding responsibilities
Develop and implement brand strategies and plans
Overall responsibility for maintain the organization’s brand and publicity
Prepare and submit reports as required
Any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications for the Marketing Manager Job
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field Masters will be an added advantage
Professional qualification in marketing e.g. CIM
At least 5 years of as a team leader in marketing/business development
Salary Guide: Negotiable depending on experience
