Inventory Coordinator

What you can expect
The incumbent will be expected to take full ownership of the Inventory Ordering Process whilst ensuring a customer focused business environment, taking BASF’s business interests into account. Operational duties will include:
Driving Material Resource Planning process, ensuring full coordination and compilation of sales forecast from the sales team, purchasing of required raw material and merchandised as well as supporting the production process with accurate and timeous production planning information.
Ensuring effective Inventory Order Management by processing of inventory orders, ensuring correct pricing and products available to meet customer demand patterns and ensure regular follow-up timeously.
Ensuring effective Inventory Management by supporting business management with accurate and timely inventory reports.
Processing Non-Conformances to support the customer returns process through the NCM system.
Ensuring all required master data is up to date, correct and maintained according to BU processes.
Maintaining up-to-date document filing system.
Reporting on relevant inventory management KPI’s to Country management team.
What we expect
Degree within the relevant field OR Equivalent qualification.
6–8 years experience with proven track record in the related field
Work experience in Logistics.
Self motivated and result orientated
SAP experience (Preferable) and Microsoft Office computer skills are essential for this role.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English is required.
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
Strong organisational skills
