Job Description
Our client is an evolving and innovative pan-African social enterprise with a Youth Empowerment Program that is designed to encourage the conversion of idle youth talent into productivity. The enterprise seeks to elevate its youth impact by strengthening and launching its inspirational and intervention platforms such as coffee table book publications, awards ceremonies, inspirational sessions, Trade Fairs & Exhibitions, Fashion Label, Youth Television, Entrepreneurship Fund, Humanitarian fund, International sports linkages, Leadership Coaching and Youth Conferences.
 Responsibilities
You will collaborate with a professional team both internally and externally to ensure achievement of operational goals and team efficiency.
Provide first line support to the organization, assisting them with hardware, software, network and communications problems by phone, email and desk-side support.
Support the communication, accounting and administration teams in posting relevant data such as invoices, receipts in the computerized systems.
Assist with the administration of staff joining, leaving or moving within the organization in relation to the creation of user accounts, password creation, email accounts and security access.
Respond to and complete requests for services (e.g. set up of ERP systems, networking, Event AV equipment setups, conference/ setup etc).
First line internal support for websites and web applications
Requirements gathering and HTML/CSS creation for the website, and applications
Uploading content and interface management for website
Help manage IT developments, and testing to go live with website provider
Provide weekly updates of all web related issues
Provide end-user training and maintain user accounts and security privileges for CMS
Manages all contracts, including renewal of website and business licenses and hosting services.
Supervise outsourced teams and determine the graphic design needs and assists in completion of production request forms.
Direct and participate in the selection, design, and production of publications, displays, exhibits, signs, paintings, and other forms of graphic demonstration and presentation.
Estimate costs of different production methods to determine the most economical method for individual projects.
Maintain knowledge of current graphic design production technology including computer hardware and software programs.
Work closely with the communication team to manage various social media pages and day-to-day social media activities.
Update images, videos, links and content online.
Manage the development, execution and production of Newsletter campaigns
Qualifications University Degree in IT/ICT/MIS, Computer Science and related fields is desirable.
More than 2 years of relevant working experience, including web development, network administration, graphic design, hardware and software platforms support, telecommunications facilities and knowledge of Windows-based packages/applications.
Good knowledge of PC/LAN operating systems, Microsoft Windows, ICT security and ERP systems.
Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular CMS systems
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) will be an added advantage.
Proven ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues.
Proven ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
Excellent decision making and able to lead teams.
Should be very firm/confident and able to work well within a diverse team.
