Head of Sales and Marketing

Job Summary
Your main role will be to provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals. In particular, you will:
Develop and roll out a marketing strategy in line with the overall company strategy; this will also include an annual sales and marketing plan and budget, and monitoring to ensure on course achievement of targets
Coordinate all marketing activities such as promotions, advertisements, customer communication, corporate publications, public relations, events, and the Company’s website among others
Analyze and report on sales and marketing activities to the CEO Establish performance goals for all departmental employees, and monitor performance on a continuous basis, providing guidance, training, mentorship and coaching as necessary
Working with the HR function, develop and roll out an incentive scheme for the sales & marketing team designed to motivate them to deliver and surpass their given targets
Develop, maintain, and/or improve business relations with all customers of Colourprint, working towards a partnership model that can facilitate joint planning
Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the company
Ensure quality of service delivery to customers whilst providing feedback to the production team to foster continuous improvement
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A seasoned leader, with experience at strategy level, who is a self-starter, easily engages peers, supervisors and subordinates, has a results focus and is open to new ideas. In addition you will have:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business management or a related field
At least 8 years sales and marketing experience with at least 3 years at a senior level;
A network that has been built over the years and experience of managing B2B as well as customer segmentation for effective account/client management
Good leadership and people-management skills including managing performance, mentoring and coaching, motivation and discipline; experience of developing and implementing sales incentive schemes is essential
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the highest level of personal and professional integrity
Strategic and analytical thinking skills as well as good negotiation and risk evaluation skills;
