We feel it is important to respond with competence , and therefore to intervene where we as an association have something to say and also to learn. Our association is composed of members who also work in Italy in the social, mainly educators, psychologists, psychiatrists, teachers, doctors. The headquarters of the GRT are shared with a cooperative that operates in Milan in the social: the Itinerant Company, and are offered spaces to other Associations that always operate in the social. This, in addition to being an economical choice, responds to the tension of the GRT’s research and professional comparison.
Abroad also, GRT aims not to create expensive and difficult management structures that are impossible to support from local counterparts. In our projects, we try to respond by taking into account locally available resources, supporting local staff through training and highlighting their skills and resources.
Funds are then invested on local staff, on minimal and manageable equipment, on the supply of resources that allow the development of the autonomy of local associations and above all the beneficiaries of projects.
