Your Mission
You are in charge of designing and implementing our disruptive p2p networking stack and our Android App:
You are passionate about writing clean, elegant and efficient code using the pareto 80/20 rule
You collaborate with our CTO to define the working infrastructure, the tech architecture and roadmap
You collaborate with our product team to interface the App with our networking stack
Team & Culture
We’re a team of seven; four devs, a Product Owner, UI/UX designer and a growth specialist. We’re lean and agile evangelists who run SCRUM in a distributed team.

REQUIREMENTS
You are a Coder
Software Eng./CS/EE BSc/MSc. OOP or OORP programming. You master at least 3 languages: Java, Erlang, Scala, Python or Ruby.
Full-Stack: BACKEND, DATA MODEL and SYSADMIN,
Infrastructure (Custom, AWS, Google Cloud). Relational and non-relational Datastore (SQL, Redis, MongoDB, Neo4j). Scalable architecture/backend experience (REST and Streaming API).
Android Skills
You developed Apps for Android using state-of-the-art patterns (MVP/MVMM, RxJava, Dagger or similar) in productive environments.
It’s a plus if
You are a certified SCRUM Master and managed projects using Agile/Kanban… You have a strong expertise in networking and ideally worked on P2P projects.
BENEFITS
You’ll be expected to frequently travel to Kakuma Refugee Camp in Turkana where we’re in the middle of a controlled launch. Compensation and benefits are competitive.
