Director – International Sales

Job description
The candidate should have over 10 years experience in optical transmission and or networking equipment. S/he will be responsible for directing sales and business development in East Africa to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Requirement
Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related or equivalent.
Over 10 yrs of experience in optical transmission and or networking equipment.
Flexibility to extensive traveling within East Africa.
Candidate should have a flair for people networking and be self-motivated to explore and expand Tejas’ market reach.
The roles and responsibilities will include –
Identifying opportunities
Assistance in market entry strategies
Negotiating contracts
Supporting channels partners
Generating and qualifying leads
Preparing and maintaining sales action plans and strategies
Planning and conducting direct sales calls
Managing product training and marketing seminars
Maintaining technical and professional knowledge
Monitoring and reporting sales activities.
