Reports to: General Manager Sales
We are currently recruiting for our client a leading Pharmaceutical. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the GM sales
Duties for the Assistant GM Sales Job
Responsible for the maintenance of system contacts and ensure follow up with customers
Responsible for managing existing customer relationships
Responsible for the expansion of the non-brand range of product lines through analysis of the local market trends and competitor activities
Streamline of sales processes and establishment of solid business relationships
Create various sales reports for both departmental and managerial review
Responsible for organizing the recruitment and training of sales personnel as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
Schedule / conduct local market research and keeping abreast of non-brand range of products
Be part of collection of local information and identification of valuable emerging markets though out East Africa
Assist the GM Sales with overseeing operations of various sales units by managing sales targets and sales manpower with the relevant unit heads.

Assistant GM Sales Job Qualifications
Education – Degree in Biochemistry, Pharmacy or related sciences
Experience – Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar position.
University degree or its equivalent
5 years’ experience in a supervisory position
Excellent computer skills
Experience in the pharmaceutical
Skills – Excellent organizational and planning skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, sound knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, excellent communication skills, team player and result oriented
