    About the role WSUP Kenya are seeking a Research & Policy Lead to coordinate WSUP’s sector influence and research activities in Kenya. The Research & Policy Lead will develop and implement WSUP Kenya’s sector influence strategy from 2016-2020, providing key support to the Country Programme Manager.
    In conjunction with WSUP’s Evaluation, Research and Learning (ERL) team based in London, the Research & Policy Lead will design and manage the organisation’s research-into-policy programme from 2016-2020. The successful candidate will coordinate WSUP’s research and research-into-policy efforts, as well as the Kenya team’s ongoing sector influencing/advocacy work, ensuring cohesion between WSUP Kenya and WSUP London regarding research and sector influence.

    Planning and preparing annual budget, rolling forecasts and latest estimates
    Assessing & managing all the business risks in coordination with the support team

    Coordinating and elaborating the annual statements & reports to the legal and fiscal entities
    Planning and supporting the internal and external audits

    Actively participating to manage to stock levels in different countries
    Monitoring Sell in vs. Sell out in the different countries and advising the management of any risks/ opportunities in the countries

    Key Skills and Qualifications for Finance & Supply Chain Job
    Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
    Professional Qualification – CPA (K)/ ACCA
    A minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience; at least 5 years in a managerial position
    Experience in change/transition programs
    Excellent Finance and IS system knowledge and IAS & IFRS regulations
    Proven experience in giving continued financial advice to the leadership team
    Project management and value chain understanding
    Excellent team leadership skills, communication, organization and presentation skills
    French is an added advantage

    Consequently, HelpAge seeks to hire a Head of Programmes for the Africa Region whose critical roles will be to ensure effective management of country offices, delivery of HelpAge’s Africa regional strategy, strategic long-term fundraising sustain and grow regional impact, manage programmes team, offer high quality technical support and institutionalize evidence gathering and learning by country teams and the network.
    The successful candidate should have experience in designing and implementing programme delivery strategies at country and regional level, experience in humanitarian work and international development, demonstrable skills in social development issues, fundraising, donor engagement and proven ability to develop networks and partnerships.  Strong leadership and management skills, influencing, communication, representation and negotiation skills are essential to this role.

    Oversee that an up to date record of all inventories is properly entered in the Inventory system.
    Representing the organisation in conciliation meetings if needed to ensure that operations is seamless.
