    Our Client, the KCB Foundation, was established in 2007 to implement the KCB Bank Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and as a sign of commitment to sustainable development to alleviate poverty and enhance well-being.
    The KCB Foundation has partnered with MasterCard Foundation through their programme Young Africa Works, to jointly implement an innovative 5-Year (2019 -2024) nationwide program that will create 1.5 Million Jobs. This project will be implemented under the 2Jiajiri programme of the KCB Foundation. The partnership targets to reach 114,000 beneficiaries categorized as Micro and Small Enterprises, primarily in Manufacturing, Agricultural and Construction Sectors. The program seeks to alleviate poverty for Women and Youth in the informal sector through Wealth Creation and Employment. 2Jiajiri is an end-to-end social transformational program divided into three phases. Phase one involves technical training, where beneficiaries undergo competency-based training in a vocational craft. In phase two, beneficiaries’ are incubated through Business Development consultancy Services, which includes access to Credit. In phase three, beneficiaries reach maturity and transition into the market.
    The KCB Foundation is seeking to recruit dynamic, highly motivated and results oriented individuals to fill the following vacant posts at the Foundation:
    Requirements
    Reporting to the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, the Business Analyst will be responsible for management, collection and analysing of data that will provide insights and help focus efforts towards achievement of the program goals.
    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Collate and analyse data for reports;
    Generate reports to assist teams in focusing field activities and enhance the monitoring, evaluation and learning;
    Working with reconciliation unit, ensure that suspense accounts maintain expected maximum life span;
    Monitor account usage trends and flag out any anomalies e.g. overdrawn positions past due loans, inactive accounts;
    Working with field teams, collate farmer issues and analyze (system or user) before forwarding to relevant departments for resolution and follow through for closure;
    Track issues that come in via customer experience and ensure they are routed to the relevant departments within the bank for resolution within agreed SLAs;
    Perform system tests and escalate service interruptions noted in service delivery to channel to support team; and
    Support product development strategies, execution and implementation of enhancements.

    Person Specifications

    Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, gained from a recognised institution;
    Have practical knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than 4 years as a Business Analyst;
    Extensive knowledge and expertise in re-engineering of business processes, including project management and problem solving skills with excellent communication skills and ability to engage customers, vendors, partners and internal cross functional teams

    The Position:
    Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales representative will be responsible for insurance business growth and development to generate revenues to support the Bancassurance growth strategy. This is a one year renewable performance based Contract.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Offer oversight of day to day Insurance operations in the branch level which entails cross-selling insurance products, consumer awareness/ customers’ sensitization initiatives, processing insurance transactions within defined terms and conditions, supporting clients with claims advise and documentation.
    Work closely with the branch management team to ensure the branch meets the set targets on insurance business.
    Provide advisory services to credit department/ branch on relevant insurance policies for businesses/ clients accessing credit facilities from the branch.
    Work closely with Branch Manager and Credit team and design strategies to leverage the existing clientele and expand the wallet share by selling insurance products hence deepening relationships and driving revenue growth.
    Identify and leverage potential business opportunities and marketing initiatives at the branch/region and seek necessary support from the Regional or Marketing Heads to actualize these into revenues.
    Ensuring premium is collected as per the laid down procedures on all claims being reported to the claims department.
    Provide technical guidance and claims management support to clients and Branches.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT
    Execute daily catering operations so as to ensure seamless product delivery and efficient management of catering processes in a timely manner.
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Execute planned catering activities to ensure reliability of standards and schedules.
    Report on catering meal uplift per flight and address any operational challenges.
    Monitor and manage any disruptions in liaison with related stakeholders.

    Input meal data and do a daily reconciliation with NBO catering supplier. 
    Ensure closure on variances on a daily basis.

    Qualifications

    Valid driving license with at least 2 years experience will be an added advantage.

    About The Position

    Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia, CBPP, caused by Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides (Mmm), is one of the major infectious diseases affecting cattle in Africa. Available vaccines are suboptimal with low efficacy, short duration of protection, and a limited compliance by cattle owners due to sporadic severe reactions at the site of injection. Protective host immune responses and the pathogen factors that induce them are largely unknown, which is a great impediment to the development of more efficient vaccines. Also, the bacterial virulence factors are not well understood, with very few virulence factors described. What is known is that CBPP is characterized by immunopathology, with a massive infiltration of neutrophils at the site of infection, the lungs. In this project we will identify bacterial factors that induce immunopathology or host protective immune responses.

    The MSc student will perform random genome-wide mutagenesis using transposons to generate a library of bacterial mutants and then utilize already established in vitro cell culture protocols to screen for mutants that fail to phenocopy the wildtype Mmm to identify bacterial factors involved in the initial host-pathogen interaction and dysregulation of the host immune response.
