    The Human Resources Intern carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Recruitment, Orientation, Contract management, Filing and benefits management.  This position will report to Human Resources Assistant
    Responsibilities
    Recruitment

    Assist with Longlisting
    Assist in the coordination of Interviews
    Conduct reference checks on successful candidates and send regrets to unsuccessful ones

    Orientation

    Assist in preparing orientation schedules for new staff and ensure that the facilitators are notified before the staff joins.

    Contracts

    Update the contract status tracker and notify the supervisor of contracts that are due to expire three months in advance.

    Filing

    Open files for new staff within two days of their reporting and ensure that all documents have been filed.
    Carry out an audit of all staff files and ensure that they are complete with all the necessary documentation (Contracts, CV& certificates, appraisal forms, Bio data forms, new staff Information forms etc.)
    Assist with the scanning of documents to be filed in the shared drive.
    Assist in the printing of documents to be filled employee files in the HR Archive room.

    Benefits 

    Update the pension scheme eligibility tracker and notify the supervisor when a staff is due for enrollment or due for contribution percentage increase.
    Any other relevant duties as may be required.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management
    At least 6 Months experience in a similar position
    Excellent organizational skills: able to multitask in a fast paced environment
    Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with HRIS systems or ability to learn.
    Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
    Excellent writing and communication skills

    Terms of Reference for Consultant facilitating 2 days workshop on Sustainability Strategy meeting for Cervical Cancer Interventions and Lessons sharing forum for Community Health Services in Kitui South Sub county

    Scope of Work
    Through its Children and Mothers Partnerships (CHAMPS) Program, CMMB has been working with key stakeholders and communities for a long-term impact, to deliver result driven and evidence-based interventions in a bid to respond to leading determinants of poor health among women and children in Kitui South sub county.
    CMMB therefore invites bids from competent individuals or firms to submit their Expression of Interest for consultancy services to facilitate a 2-days workshop.
    The consultant’s role will entail facilitating discussions to document gains achieved and lessons learnt from on-going implementation in community health services but also develop a Sustainability Strategy for the Cervical cancer project interventions as a key deliverable.
    The first day of the workshop will bring together key actors in cervical cancer interventions in the county including key county and national government departments, community members, community health volunteers and non-governmental organizations to map a way forward in terms of how the achieved gains will be sustained as the project draws towards the end.
    The second day of the workshop will focus on community health services and map key achievements, best practices and lessons learnt.
    Under the supervision of the CHAMPS Coordinator, the consultant will be expected to provide the following documents as key deliverables;

    A document outlining a Sustainability Plan for Cervical cancer interventions supported by CMMB.
    A write up of key lessons learnt and action points from the show casing and dissemination event for Community Health Services in Kitui South.

    Skills, experience and qualifications required

    Five years progressive experience with similar assignments in a development or humanitarian context
    Excellent facilitation skills, in-depth understanding of MoH systems is an advantage.
    Excellent writing skills and extensive experience in producing development work related project documents for international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences.
    Experience in development communication will be an added advantage
    Availability and willingness to travel to Kitui
    Ability to work in close coordination with other team members.
    Minimum of a Degree in development studies.

    Assignment Duration and Reporting
    The task is expected to be completed within three working (3) days, inclusive of field visits and reporting, from the date of signing of the contract.
    All travel and accommodation will be covered by CMMB, whereas meal expenses will be covered by the consultant.
    Working days period
    The consultancy will be managed administratively by the Country Director on behalf of CMMB Kenya.
    Direct day to day supervision of the consultancy will be under the Project Managers; while working collaboratively with other CMMB Kenya Staff in Kitui. All reports and other communications will be addressed to the Country Director or as otherwise agreed between the Consultant and CMMB.

    Our client, an established bank is looking to and hire for a Head of Digital Channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving the bank’s digital business strategy as well as provide leadership to the digital team aimed towards growing the bank’s digital business.

    He/she will oversee risk management geared towards managing and minimizing risk in the digital business channels.
    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
    Driving revenue growth through all the various digital channels and increase customer adoption of digital banking through the development and implementation of the digital strategy;
    Championing the role of digital in all revenue, product and communication activities; and provide digital knowledge input into customer and proposition development;
    Drive digital marketing initiatives that will drive online acquisition, digital channel utilisation as well as brand awareness;
    Drive key Group and business products to successful completion and share best practices and learning with Region/ Group;
    Work with Segment/ Product and Voice & Virtual teams to provide insights on needs and behaviours of key customer activity;
    Work with Analytics to understand client insights and ensure that these are fed back into digital marketing strategy;
    Responsible for identifying and reporting potential and actual Money Laundering Risk, including suspicious transactions in accordance with the laid down AML/CFT policies & procedures;
    Ensure appropriate KPIs and targets are set for all staff in the digital channels and oversee performance appraisal and staff development
    Acts as a digital pathfinder, interprets critical business drivers, conducts research, maintains an understanding of current banking/financial services industry trends, consults and participates in peer review in order to develop long-term plans.
