    TBC is seeking an extraordinary, customer service oriented, self-motivated, experienced leader to work as our Loss Prevention & Security Lead to help lead the security needs of our most valuable assets: our People and our products. The Loss Prevention & Security Lead will apply their expertise and devise theft prevention, shortage reduction and safety strategies across our retail, office and logistics teams. Responsible for all investigations, operational standards, training and process definition and improvement, you will also take a proactive approach to resolving losses and analyzing the root cause of each case.
    Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Lead and implement Loss Prevention procedures, which safeguard the Company’s assets and provide clear mentorship to team members
    Works with HQ’s business partners (i.e. Human Resources, Legal, Operations and Retail Maintenance) to ensure that all aspects of Loss Prevention are consistent and in compliance with company standards and policy
    Inspect compliance to company safety policy procedures through store visits and provide direction and training to ensure opportunities are identified and corrected
    Spends 70% of time on the field reviewing processes, observing and educating teams on Loss Prevention initiatives
    Provides assistance on all Law Enforcement and Judiciary requests, to secure video surveillance footage, tax invoice or other pertinent information
    Identify via Store visits preventative measures on reducing shortage and ensure 100% execution
    Enhance, track, and report on LP key metrics, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
    Conduct Safety Audits for stores to ensure safe work environments
    Develop Market specific shortage action plans in high-risk stores and makes recommendations on ways to reduce inventory shortages
    Lead Security staff to ensure consistent practices and high level of customer service are performed in all stores
    Offer recommendations and solutions in crisis situations such as work place violence and theft issues
    Lead investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate
    Ensure Internal Controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to area are fulfilled
    Handles vendor relationships, physical security, and contract guards with the highest level of integrity

    Experience

    7-10 years of retail Loss Prevention management experience, including
    5+ years’ experience in one of all of the following disciplines: corporate security management, loss prevention, asset protection, transportation/supply chain security, guard force utilization, and investigations, minimum 3 years of multi-unit management experience
    Loss Prevention investigation and interview experience required
    5 years vendor management experience
    Familiar with Wicklander & Zulawski and/or Reid interviewing methods, certification would be a plus
    Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts desired, and certification is a plus
    Ability to travel to stores within assigned area, and maneuver around sales floors, stock room and offices
    Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel along with analytical skills to gather, analyze data and present recommendations
    Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
    Familiarity with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and CCTVs
    Able to work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5-8 km a day and ability to lift up to 20 lbs

    The Data Administrator/ tracing secretary supports the Protection office in its data management processes. S/He monitors the Restoration of Family Links (RFL) -related forms and updates the data in the system.
    This is a national/resident position based in Nairobi, Kenya.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    Receives and dispatches all mails received from ICRC Delegation and Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS)
    Prepares the monitoring list and forms and dispatches the same to the relevant office
    Updates the ICRC data base related to the open of tracing cases
    On a bi-annual basis extracts a report on all pending tracing cases and shares it with SRCS Tracing Coordinators for follow up purposes
    Captures the feedback received into the system, ensuring that all closed cases are updated accordingly
    Ensures conformity to the set procedures and adherence to quality standards during the data entry for all the Restoring Family Links (RFL) cases
    Ensures proper record management by filing of enclosure list of pouches dispatched and received
    Makes follow up and ensures that the tracing documents are returned to ICRC after broadcast

    Minimum qualifications and required competencies

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or any other related field of study
    2 years’ experience as a Data Administrator in a busy environment
    Solid experience in data management and familiar with various databases/software
    Fluency in written and spoken English and Somali language
    Excellent organizational and communication skills
    Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment
