    Job Summary:
    The Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst shall implement the strategies designed to assure the quality of data collection, collation, entry, analysis and reporting through consistent application of the existing monitoring and evaluation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other guidelines.
    Primary Functions & Responsibilities;

    Coordinate the collection, collation, analysis and reporting of various project data streams.
    Receive, review, analyze, validate, enter/code and store various program data streams as submitted by field operations staff. Prepare and collate these into the relevant format for preparing reports and feedback for decision support.
    Undertake visits to the field as necessary to enforce and validate data collection techniques and to identify where adaptations might be needed so as to ensure continuous quality of project data.
    Ensure the integrity of program data and reports through well organized and secured paper and electronic filing.
    Prepare and submit accurate, comprehensive and timely reports on the conduct of the various surveys, incorporating best practices such as the use of well-structured trackers.
    Oversee and coordinate contractors who may from time to time be contracted to implement field surveys and studies required for evaluating program effects and impacts.
    Any other duties assigned by Program Manager.

    Basic Qualifications;

    Qualifications at degree level in business management, economics, statistics, development studies or other relevant area of study.
    At least 3 years of work developing or implementing M & E systems. Prior experience in data collection, collation and analysis is essential, using both paper and technology-based platforms.
    Hands on experience in the use of STATA for data analysis
    Good understanding of sustainable rural development and social impact indicators.
    Well-developed computer skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    Good communication skills that allow regular interface with a diverse team both in the field and in back room operations.
    Strong planning skills and ability to work independently within agreed work plans and time lines and to generate solutions to changing work situations.
    Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
    Strong oral & written presentation skills in English and Kiswahili. Knowledge of local languages is an advantage in some locations.
    Willingness to spend time working and travelling in project sites located rural areas.
    Possess a valid Kenyan driving license.

    EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
    Planning of the team building retreat workshop

    Inception meeting with the retreat planning committee.
    An inception meeting report articulating the process of team building exercise.
    Develop and administer a pre- and post-retreat evaluation on the overall satisfaction rate, comments, and feedback from the staff and submit findings to BvAT not later than one week after the retreat.
    A customized training and team building plan clearly articulating the objectives of each of the team building exercises in line with the retreat objectives.
    Interactive and flexible facilitation tools and material aids prepared prior to the event.

    Facilitation of the team building retreat event

    Employ both indoor and outdoor team building activities in line with the identified training/teambuilding topics.

    A brief report outlining the following

    Post-retreat evaluation results and analysis
    The retreat events proceedings and key outcomes.
    Recommendations to BvAT on the action points to address the identified gaps, promote communication and team work horizontally and vertically.

    EXPECTED OUTCOMES

    A cohesive team that understands individual roles and their links to the overall BvAT’s strategic goals, objectives and core values.
    Improved team spirit and communication between teams, supervisors and supervisees, both horizontally and vertically.

    DURATION AND MANAGEMENT
    The consultancy will be for 1.5 days in the 3rd week of December 2022, under the supervision of the staff retreat planning committee.
    PARTICIPANTS
    A total of 61 participants (48 staff and 13 interns) will attend. They comprise of staff based in head office in Nairobi, field staff from across Kenya, and staff from Uganda and Tanzania. The retreat will be held in one of the adjacent towns off Nairobi.
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    The Lead Consultant(s) should possess a university degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Change Management, Psychology, and Counselling.
    Demonstrated knowledge and advanced skills and at least 3 years of previous experience of facilitating team building events for international organizations or large commercial companies.
    The consultants should provide a team of at least 2 experts to handle the key topics of the retreat as
    Enhance team building, collaborative spirit and internal communication.
    Empowerment of staff and
    Performance management, outlining the sub-topics indicated in this TOR.

    Security Responsibilities

    Respond to all aspects of emergency responses to provide assistance to employees and customers and where necessary act as the command and control for the incident.
    Conduct daily / weekly / monthly checks for all safety and security equipment.
    Train store employees on the application of emergency procedures in crisis situations as per the guidelines.

    Policies and Procedures

    Implement the safety and security policies and procedures in the store.
    Enforce security/safety policies and ensure that security officers’ post instructions are followed, established patrols are completed, and adequate reports and logs are filed daily and weekly as per the company policies.
    Maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning shoplifters’ handling, searches and seizures, and the preservation of evidence.

    Investigations

    Identify potential safety and security risks and report to management.
    Support investigations on cases such as employee theft, breach of ethics, corruption and violations of the company policies, procedures and code of conduct.
    Identify theft trends within the assigned store, enforce theft handling procedures and improve the theft-catching rate of employees and customers.
    Perform routine monitoring and review the video surveillance footage to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures during the day.

    The Position: 
    The Senior Manager Quality Assurance Engineering & Automation is a full stack technical and test engineer experienced in the creation of automated functional and non-functional test scripts for anything and everything in an application. The role holder plays a key role within quality engineering organization as a thought leader and champion of best practices in the quality assurance engineering arena. This role focuses on providing overall implementation of quality engineering best practices, and lead/manage implementation of those practices across the various programs and projects within the organization. The person is responsible for creating a test-driven culture resulting in high-quality solutions and products delivered to the market on time that drive the highest levels of customer satisfaction and internal productivity.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Prioritize and champion the definition, implementation and adoption of QE best practices, frameworks, and standards and definition of QE and test automation strategies and approaches in alignment with overall organizational goals.
    Provide strong technical leadership to QE & testing team to ensure adherence to software engineering and solution architecture standards and best practices and manage various QE activities including regression, performance, stress, load testing.

    The Person:
