    Description
    The ideal candidate will be required to organize, conduct and evaluate In-flight Services training and development programmes to enhance organizational and individual performance for staff at Kenya Airways and for commercial customers.
    Key accountabilities will be as indicated below;

    Analyse learning and development needs and design solutions to ensure they address capability development needs.
    Prepare learning materials and venue to ensure effective delivery of training.
    Deliver the training to the selected participants to enhance knowledge and skills and demonstrate the return on investment on trainings offered.
    Follow up on course participants to evaluate level of skills transfer & implementation of action plans.
    Prepare progress and assessment report on course participants for follow up and recommendations to their respective supervisor.
    Prepare, administer and mark examinations to assess the effectiveness of the training.
    Maintain the library and other training materials and monitor training activity, expenditure and provide reports.
    Support advertising and marketing of courses to external commercial customers.
    Adapt and customize training to meet customers’ requirements
    Contribute to the achievement of commercial objectives for In-flight Services training.
    Issue certificates / transcripts to qualified participants to ensure compliance with KQ Standards and Procedures.
    Deliver commercial training programs to contribute to the achievement of revenue generation.
    Maintain competency, qualification and where required, certified in both the subject matter required to deliver.
    Support in the review of operational manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company training standards within operational areas.
    Act as subject matter expert for the business with regards to Inflight Services Training.
    Create a learning culture by always engaging learners and their managers.

    Qualifications

    At least 3 years’ experience as a Cabin Crew
    Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma or Diploma
    Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
    Excellent communication, Motivational skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
    Demonstrated ability to leading self
    Possession of instructional techniques, design and delivery skills will be an added advantage
    Proficiency in MS Office productivity skills with excellent IT skills

    Job purpose
    This position is responsible for support and facilitation of administrative and logistical functions in the office of the chairperson and commissioners’ offices.
    Operational Responsibilities:

    Compile board papers and related documentation that concern Human Rights in Kenya for the monthly Commissioners Statutory Meetings to address the Commission’s mandate of acts as a watchdog over the Government in the area of human rights.
    Provide logistical support for both international and domestic travel the Chairperson and Commissioners’ officessuch as pursue the visa process, book air tickets
    Monitor the Chairperson and commissioners leave records to ensure availability of a commissioner at any one time by maintenance of schedule of leave proceeded on, leave balances, filling of leave formsand update Human Resources
    Receive and screen all visitors to the office of the Chairperson, telephone calls, inwardand outward mail and ensure relevant action is taken by respective officers
    Manage administration of formal events of the Commission such as logistics of high level delegations to the commission, logistics for international conference hosted by the commission
    Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Chairperson including but not limited to: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
    Communicates directly, and on behalf of the Chairperson, with Board members, key stakeholders, Commission staff, and others, on matters related to Chairperson’s programmatic and administrative initiatives.
    Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in Board Standard Operating Procedures regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.

    Skills, Experience and Minimum Qualifications

    Served in the grade of Office Administrator or an equivalent position for a period of three (3) years.
    Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a relevant field from a recognized institution
    Certificate in computer applications from a reputable Organization
    Secretarial qualifications are an added advantage
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development.
    Met the requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution on leadership and integrity
