    The Position:
    Technology Service Delivery is responsible for managing the delivery, performance, supply chain of IT services and enterprise applications to provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business objectives and customer (internal/external) expectations.
    The Access Management Engineer is responsible in managing the identities, provisioning and deprovisioning of access rights of people within the organization. The individual shall be liable for managing day to day incidents and user’s support requests and ensuring that customer requests for access and profiles are completed in a timely manner. He/she shall also provide 1st level support for the different bank applications. He/She shall be the advocate of principles of least privilege, role based and just in time access control across the group.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Establish stringent access control management on user account creation, maintenance and termination on operating systems, applications, and databases to ensure information systems security, integrity, and confidentiality.
    Conduct timely exits on all systems as per HR exit notifications.
    Assess and implement actions resulting from periodic user recertification exercises across the KCB group landscape.
    Investigating, diagnosing and resolving all first level user management incidents assigned within the agreed timelines in the Service Level Agreement.
    Provide input and feedback in gaps and enhancements to user Management of all mission critical systems and roles, automation platforms, and processes.
    Escalating more complicated and technical problems to the 2nd level support within the Technology departments.
    Ensures that daily status reports are compiled and continually modified to meet the needs of the business as well as reporting to senior managers on any issue that could significantly impact the business.
    Define, create, and deliver user management appropriate documentation to the defined Technology team standards and ensuring that new procedures are documented in an efficient and timely manner and that suitable version control is employed.
    Create and deliver Service Catalogue, Client Support technical documentation and Knowledge base content and ensure they are disseminated to users.
    Conduct research and development on new areas in identity/privileged access management and perform knowledge sharing with Technology Security team across the group.

    The Person:
    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    University degree from a recognized institution.
    Qualifications in ITIL will be added advantage.
    At least 4 years Information Technology experience with at least 2 years User Management experience.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    Excellent planning, organization, problem solving and analytical skills.

    Main Purpose
    Provide nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.
    Accountabilities

    Know, promote, implement and follow at all times the universal hygiene standards/precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, security rules and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensure high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment .
    Organize and carry out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, as well as assist them during consultations/ daily rounds and other medical procedures.
    Ensure patients are properly received and installed in the health service. Ensures that patients with lack of autonomy are assisted, especially regarding their feeding, personal hygiene, movements and comfort.
    Provision of Patient Centred care while respecting Medical ethics and confidentiality
    Carry-out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients meaning assessment of their health state evolution, and identification of emergency situation or any deterioration,
    Participate in health education of the patient (and family) when necessary
    Supervise and train nurse-aids, nutritional assistants, cleaners and other related staff under his/her supervision in their work with special focus in following all appropriate protocols and procedures and ensuring team work
    Participate in the department-related pharmacy and medical equipment control and maintenance (carrying out inventories, carrying out stock takes of medicines and material at every team changeover, ensuring no material is taken out of nursing area/wards without prior authorisation, checking its quality and its functioning, storage conditions, doing follow-up of expired drugs, etc.).
    Carry-out and supervise administrative procedures and documents (fill in patients files, forms, consumptions, statistics, etc.), ensure an appropriate written/oral handover, and report any problematic situations and cases that may arise. Fill in all necessary registers and health files, participate in data collection and keep doctors/supervisors informed.
    For EMT, ensure triage of patients in waiting areas, wards or during emergencies, detecting the priority acute/emergency cases, carrying out first aid care when necessary and referring them to the doctor.
    If applicable, identify Sexually Gender Based Violence victims and refer them to the medical team, so they can receive the necessary treatment.
    Knows and is aware of the importance and appropriate use of the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit
    Sends material to be sterilized and recuperates it from sterilization.

    Requirements
    Education:

    MUST be trained and certified as an Emergency Medical Technician, registered with the EMT’s board and have a valid practice license
    Additional: BLS, ATLS and ACLS certification an added advantage

    Experience: Desirable 2 years of previous experience and previous experience in other NGO’s.
    Languages: Local language, English and Kiswahili

    Good communication skills, verbal and in written
    Ability to use good judgment and remain calm in high stress situations

    Leadership and Management:

    Oversees AHF medical operations in the region and supports the Medical Director to efficiently and effectively deliver quality clinical services in the region
    Provides technical support to the Prevention and Treatment program ensuring linkage of outreach activities to treatment and care program through well-established processes of patient linkages and service integration
    Attends key technical partners meetings and provides feedback to management
    Builds and maintains partnerships with key stakeholders in the Health and HIV/AIDS sector e.g. with MOH, NASCOP, NACC, etc.
    Ensures that CMEs are conducted in all sites and participates in the facilitation of CME sessions.
    Ensure attendance of healthcare center medical staff at weekly CME seminars and recommending CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs as appropriate based on peer reviews
    Participates in staff need assessment, interviewing, and induction of newly hired staff
    Ensures a high quality of clinical services is delivered at all AHF-supported sites in the region. Lead quality assurance initiatives in the region
    Provides periodic comprehensive support supervision reports, adhering to the tools provided by AHF
    Promotes the implementation of standard operating procedures for all activities relating to good clinical practice and ensures functional QI teams are in existence at site levels
    Supervises and implements quality management activities and quality benchmarks monitoring, facilitation of quality assurance, and quality improvement sessions
    Ensures effective patient flow in all sites, especially those with a high volume of patients, and coordinate time-motion surveys to monitor performance
    Oversees the timely collection, compilation, and reporting of routine and specific data to guide decision-making at the site, regional, and country program level
    Leads in AHF Advocacy activities in the region including providing periodic advocacy updates to staff
    Serves as AHF’s advocate at the site level

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Provides direct supervision and mentorship to clinical officers, nurses, laboratory technologists, pharmacist, pharm techs, health records officers, etc. working in the different facilities in the region to ensure continuous growth and learning
    Ensures timely compilation and submission of monthly drug inventory reports in coordination with the Program Pharmacist Clinical care
    Provides clinical care in conjunction with other team members
    Spends at least 2 days per week providing direct patient care
    Responsible for patient chart review and peer review following the guidelines established by the Policies and Procedures Committee
    Attend medical provider meetings (at minimum, once a month) to discuss difficult patients and mortality cases.

    Qualifications:

    Must be a Medical Doctor from a recognized institution. Additional qualification in Health systems management or public health will be an added advantage
    Minimum of five (5) years medical/health service experience preferred with a sound knowledge of basic medical disciplines to allow for accurate diagnosis and appropriate management of clinical problems
    Three years or more of recent experience with HIV/AIDS treatment; two years minimum of administration and program management experience with knowledge of clinical protocols and procedures in the management of HIV related diseases
    Must be registered with Kenya Medical Pharmacists and Dentists Board and must have a valid practice license.

    Specific roles and responsibilities may change as the position, and the company, and the product, evolve. This is a flexible and demanding post with numerous associated responsibilities. The key areas identified are:

    Set the Strategic Direction: The MD will be responsible the development of a 3-year strategic plan and ensuring its adoption across the new business. They will be required to manage the development of corporate plans and budgets and take the lead role in all the planning and budgeting activities. In this position, the MD will establish and review key strategic priorities and translate them into actionable and quantitative plans.
    Build the team – The MD will be responsible for optimizing the company organization chart.
    Refine the Business Plan and Financial Model: The MD, working with BURN’s existing finance team is expected to develop the Business Plan, Financial Model and Investor Memorandum to guide and fund the new entity.
    Fundraise: The MD will develop and execute a strategic funding plan that will include a mixture of equity, debt, and grants.
    Partnership Development: The MD will develop and execute a strategic partnership plan that will include distributors, Telco’s, Utilities and Funders.
    Run the Business: A core part of this role will require that the MD manages the day-to-day activities of the business ensuring the successful execution of strategy and driving the business to achieve key commercial milestones and KPIs.

    The Person: Have a minimum of 5 years of proven success taking a consumer product startup to scale in Sub Saharan Africa. It is essential that the previous experience is within a startup with a minimum annual turnover of $1,000,000. You are a strong communicator, have always the overview over all moving pieces in your team. You have immense experience in managing teams that might span different time zones. You are a hands-on person; a people’s person and you know how to set priorities and coordinate with all stakeholders within and outside of the company.
