A Middle-sized security firm has retained our services to recruit a Duty Controller.
JOB TITLE: DUTY CONTROLLER
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Take and Hand Over duties in the Control Room
Report any malfunctions of Control Room equipment,
Ensure immediate handling of all client and operations issues
Book all reports accurately and in details and take action or advise the Senior Ops Controller,
Maintain the deployment diary
Attend to all telephone calls promptly,
Monitor and radio check all the sub-stations on the channel randomly and ensure they are alert at all times.
Keep the management informed on telephone or radio of the daily incidents or emergency for direction or action
Maintain an up-to-date register of all client details
Book all reports accurately and in details and take action or advise the Senior Ops Controller,
Monitor the movement of all operations vehicles and record the details,
Take messages and escalate the same to the relevant officers and officers or Clients,
Monitor the RDC for alarms and cause the Response teams to respond to distress signals,
Track vehicles using the GPS system,
Extract OB reports by raising Abstracts and hand over to the Senior Operations Controller,
Operate the Emergency Kitty by giving out cash for emergency cases only as directed by the Operations Manager,
Perform any other duty as may be directed by seniors from time to time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in the private security industry.
A high appreciation of and demonstration of customer service skills and selling skills.
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent people handling & leadership skills
Proficient computer user skills
