Key Responsibilities

Test field survey tools
Conduct household survey activities for the Eco-PPR project in Kenya such as administration of questionnaires and conducting of participatory interviews
Handle data and conduct primary data analysis
Contribute to project area reports and datasets
Provide logistical support during field surveys
Perform any other related duties as may be required

 
 

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts degree or Diploma in Community Development, Business Administration, Sociology or Socioeconomics
One-year relevant experience with degree or three years relevant experience with diploma
Experience working with household survey tools such as questionnaires and participatory data collection methods
Knowledge and experience working with communities in rural areas will be an added advantage
Experience in simple data analysis and report writing preferred
Experience in gender studies will be an added advantage

 
 

Post location: The position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya

Terms of Appointment

This position is at job level HG 10 and it is only open to Kenyan nationals. The position on a 1-year fixed term contract. ILRI offers a competitive salary and benefits package which includes; pension, medical and other insurances
