Customer Service Representative
We are a furniture manufacturing company in Nairobi, interested in hiring a Customer Service Representative to manage customer engagement, queries and complaints. This also includes processing orders, modifications, and escalating complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with customers. Computer skills are are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining a positive and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers through various channels (phone, email, meetings and social media).
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
Processing sales orders, quotations, and other system requests.
Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support.
Requirements:
College diploma, university degree or equivalent in Marketing/Communication or related field.
Minimum 10 years experience in Customer Service or Sales and Marketing.
Experience using MS Office applications specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience using computers, especially Windows applications for communication, accounting and helpdesk.
Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
