Reporting to the Head of Design, the Junior Graphic Designer applies their design and software/production skills on branding, marketing, and communication projects while advancing our mission and building brand awareness. As a member of our in-house creative team, this position requires a designer who excels at multi-tasking under deadline, both with direction and independently.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and design brand experiences that communicate Cytonn’s values, features, and benefits
Craft design deliverables including key visual assets, identity guidelines, infographics, iconography and more for Cytonn’s social channels, products, and marketing/PR initiatives
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Growth and Communications teams to facilitate and document company design decisions
Steward the implementation and evolution of our design standards and systems
Participate in user research and testing when applicable
Look for opportunities to solve problems in unique and innovative ways
Help maintain visual and brand consistency between products and channels
Requirements
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills, with an eagerness to learn new tools
A strong understanding of grid systems, composition and color, with a keen eye for typography, and great attention to detail
Education background in graphic design, visual communication design, or other related fields
Passion for Brand Design with a good understanding of wire framing/sketching tools
Appreciation of web interfaces and user experiences
An extremely clean, functional design aesthetic
Passion for current design trends and technologies and a desire to communicate this knowledge across the team
