SALARY: 20K
Duties:
Maintain the petty cash book in accurate order, while guaranteeing efficiency in transactions.
Undertaking regular cash counts on weekly basis and at the end of each month to confirm that books reflect existing physical amounts
Preparing and making payments
Keeping track of cash levels, and prepare fund request when needed:
Keeping up-to-date cash books and bank books
Submitting cash books and bank books to the Accountant on a monthly basis
Calculating and submitting local tax returns
Filing of statutory reports
Records keeping of the expense sheets
Responsible of the filing of all the administrative documents
Looks for ways to avoid waste and limit costs
Perform any other duties assigned to you from time to time
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting/ Business management or any related Field.
Must be conversant with POS systems
Must have 2 years previous experience in a hotel setting in a 4 star or 5 star hotel
Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
Strong proficiency in mathematics and statistics
Ability to organize data and draft reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
Strong communication skills that help to develop courteous conversation with the customers
