Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail the following:
Developing and implementing education broadcasting policy as it relates to audio-visual;
Identifying programmes for airing;
Vetting programmes;
Scheduling commercials and adverts;
Feeding programmes, promos and adverts into the play-out server for daily transmission;
Cataloging the programmes aired/to be aired;
Tracking customer satisfaction; preparing programmes line-up;
Programme acquisition;
Monitoring the effective transmission of programmes;
Developing and reviewing long and short term goals for development of audio- visual programs;
Monitoring the effectiveness of the audio-visual programmes in curriculum delivery; and
Developing networks, partnership and collaborations in the development of audio-visual curriculum support
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade an applicant must have:
Served in the grade of Producer for a minimum period of three (3) years;
Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Media Science, Mass Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Computer literacy;
Demonstrated professional competence and merit as reflected in work performance and results;
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
