We are looking for an exceptional individual with a proven track record in designing human capital systems and initiatives to spearhead our employee culture and engagement projects.

Terms of Reference :
Design a seamless onboarding process for new employees that includes training materials on company culture as well as systems for both HQ and country based staff(e.g. how to use internal technology systems such as CRM, Task Management System etc)
Work with Pula team to develop learning materials that enable new employees to quickly understand our core business
Develop an employee handbook that lays out all important company policies and procedures
Develop a playbook for ways of working that synthesizes best practices for team management, cohesion and accountability
Define cadence for existing internal culture activities such as our “lunch and learn” program and provide actionable suggestions for strengthening employee engagement in these
Work with Pula team to define a range of culture programming focused on fostering interpersonal engagement within the team outside of work context
Work with Pula team to define a company policy on leave and remote working
Finalize existing salary rationalization and promotions framework and define a roadmap for implementing and messaging this to our staff
Review existing performance management framework and suggest improvements
Review existing staff feedback surveys and suggest improvements/best approaches to synthesize and respond to such feedback
Manage the rollout an upcoming of an employee benefits scheme
Map out a standard hiring procedure for high skilled roles for our HQ office and regional leads
Create a productive framework for an annual offsite retreat that will be focused on annual company goal setting and revisiting company DNA and values
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven human capital leader with a firm understanding of best practices in people management and culture building
Experience developing HC systems and processes from scratch
Experience designing people and culture initiatives particularly in a start-up environment
Empathetic listener, “people person” who can quickly diagnose HR issues, propose and execute solutions in a short amount of time
Ability to plan for and manage multiple projects at the same time
Ability to use Google Drive Apps, Task Management Systems and other productivity technology with ease
Experience in working in diverse multi background teams is a must.
Preferred Prof Experience
Knowledge and background in Insurance or Agriculture is an advantage
