Accounts Assistant Chef

Job Summary
An established Non-Governmental organisation, is founded on Christian faith and entrenched in partnerships with communities to assist the most vulnerable to have a dignified life through high quality healthcare services, education, sanitation and other projects. The Assistant Account shall be assisting at the Finance office mainly in data entry, filing work & reconciliation of accounts. The position shall run for three (3) months effective immediately. Therefore this position requires someone who is forward-thinking and enjoys working with numbers and analyzing data, and ultimately keeping the place on-task and running smoothly.Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

An advanced level of written and verbal communication/presentation skills is essential.

Willing to relocate out of Nairobi

Education

Minimum education at Diploma/Degree level in a business related field.

Good understanding of accounting preferably CPA 1 or equivalent

 
 
Responsibilities
 
Internal/External Interactions:
Internal

Report directly to the Finance Manager.

Work closely with the Organization team on administrative tasks.

Functional Responsibilities

Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones,processing the mail, etc.

Providing support to the Accounting Department.

Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and inperson.

Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.

Reconciling accounts

Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Knowledge Responsibilities:

Keep up-to-date with changing trends.

HR Responsibilities:

Provide support, where required to other departments
