Reporting to the Manager- Administration, the Relationship Officer – Mailroom is ensuring the bank’s correspondences and parcels are dispatched and are timely delivered. Responsibilities typically include:
Receive incoming mail
Sort mail incoming by department and individual employees
Distribute incoming and interoffice mail in a timely manner
Prepare outgoing shipments
Arrange package pickups with appropriate carriers
Keeping records of sent and received mail
Manage inventory of shipping and mail supplies
Track mailroom supplies
Essential Knowledge
Thorough understanding of the banking systems
Excellent comprehension of the Banks Policies, Processes and Procedures
Self-Driven, an eye for detail and capacity to meet strict deadlines while working under pressure with minimal supervision
Reliable and self-driven
Good analytical skills and ability to think outside the box
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Manage relationships with courier partners

Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Business related field from a recognized university or College
Over 2 years working experience in Equity Bank
Computer proficiency
Experience in leading and managing teams
Excellent data entry skills
Strong time management, organizational & prioritization skills
