Sales Engineer – Service Equipment Business

KONE Kenya is focused on growing business presence in Nairobi as success here will play an integral part in the overall success of KONE East Africa. To complement these growth plans, service equipment business is considered to be a strategic priority for our Business.Reporting directly to the Service Sales Manager, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Engineer – Service Equipment Business to be based in our Nairobi, Kenya office. In this role, you will drive the service equipment business by seeking out and offering solutions for the Modernization of customer units. Posses a strong ability to convert these leads into customers, driving sales in order to achieve sales targets.A SEB Sales Engineer focuses on creating customer trust, value and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands selling at its core. We need someone who has the ability to influence, is result driven and has a strong commercial acumen.This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals who thrive to drive sales in the market. University Degree in Electrical Engineering;
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the elevator industry;
Experience in field sales and the ability to meet the demands of customers;
Excellent customer interaction and the ability engage with customers;
The ability to engage the sales process and tender document skills would be an advantage;
Experience on CRM tools and MS Office is a must;
Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw conclusions and identify patterns;
Ability to work together as a team and promote a harmonious environment;
Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus;
Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Knowledge of other African languages will be advantageous.
