Development of a clear IT strategy for the company
Attraction, guidance and retention of key IT related staff within the company
Stay abreast with industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Oversee and manage the entire Information Technology life cycle
Assist in expanding the brand and its concepts globally
Stakeholder engagement
Manage training sessions, conferences and events
Developing and applying for patents
Continuous research in the fields relevant to the company and its technology products
Ensure KPI’s are continuously met
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Relevant Master’s Degree essential, with a PHD being highly advantageous
12 years relevant experience with 6 years in a senior management capacity
Experience working with / for a reputable global brand advantageous
Proven knowledge and experience working with AI (artificial intelligence) is not negotiable
Knowledge and understanding
MVC, PHP, Java, MySQL, Android, Python, R, AWS, Bitbucket, CSS, SMS, HTML5, and Laravel
Server, database frameworks and tools including Ubuntu, Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Devops experience
Continuous integration, deployment and micro-services architecture experience
Willing to relocate to Kenya
