Quality Team Lead

Purpose of the Role:The prime purpose of this role is to ensure that all aspects of MAKE Quality (Processes, activities and systems) at production facilities guarantee Diageo Brands reputation, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers and consumers.This will be done by establishing continuous improvement culture with a ruthless focus in the areas of:-

Finished Product Quality standards application
Control of Quality Management, process management systems
Regulatory Compliance management
In coming Material controls and assurance
Assurance and validation of internal testing services.
Assurance of stage by stage controls.

This role is important in leading implementation of the wider company Quality strategy, policy and programs that promote a Zero defects culture, which is identified as a priority in driving overall business ambition.Requirements – Capabilities, Skills & Experience

Experience of Quality Management principles and processes.
At least 3 years’ experience in FMCG operational environment with hands on exposure to Quality and Food Safety control
Graduate level in Chemistry/Biochemistry field with relevant experience. Overall, good knowledge of Quality and Food Safety legislation and standards.
Understanding /Awareness of audit techniques and methodology in QMS and Food safety standards.
Hands on Experience in Lab standards and development of Good Lab practices and systems.
Influencing and leadership skills
Audit and HACCP experience, application of six sigma
Desirable –Knowledge and application of lean six sigma tools to min of yellow belt
