The Funding, Grant Management and Programme Development Manager will have significant experience of leading, writing and co-ordinating high value proposals to statutory or institutional funders, such as the UN, EU or DFID.
In collaboration with programme teams the post holder will develop robust project designs and plans, produce successful and timely applications, including theories of change, log-frames and other application supporting documents, such as budgets. Ideally the candidate will have experience of competitive tendering.
The post-holder will work closely with Saferworld programme teams with a focus on:
Nurturing and developing donor and prospect funders relationships
Developing high quality programme designs
Leading on the production of successful applications donors
Sustaining donor relationships through effective grant management and donor stewardship
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing funds for high value six figure sums from the institutional or statutory sector and experience of proposal development, including ability to convey complex models in an accessible language. Thematic knowledge of peacebuilding, security and justice, governance, gender or conflict transformation would be an advantage
