Review Tech Pack for clarity, if unclear seek clarification from NY Tech
Measure and review sample patterns against block patterns, review style details against style packages and fit all samples on standard mannequin.
Provide accurate measurement record and sample assessment comments highlighting all points of nonconformance.
Give corrective action comments to vendor on sample fitting and paper pattern corrections.
Ensure vendors have all the necessary information and clear understanding to create proto, fit and pre-production samples.
Provide technical support and advice to vendors
Work closely with offshore and onshore technical team to ensure prompt sample approval.
Review and ensure all corrective action as requested by designer team/technical team has been taken by vendors prior to next round of sample submission.
Ensure continuity and maintain approved fit standards as per the designer team/technical team requirements.
Review designer team/technical team comments and provide additional information to ensure clear understanding as necessary.
Follow thru risk assessment- take appropriate action and update NY Tech
Attend PP meeting with Hub QA on orange and red risk assessed styles and pass information for reason why style is risk assessed orange and red.
Monitor WIP system on sample approval status
Enter TP Accuracy report for Tech area. Communication
Communicate with technical team and vendors via written or oral communication channels.
Work with Merchandising teams to ensure punctual sample submission and approval
