Technical Sales Manager

Job description
Your responsibilities:
Product Scope:
Food Product Groups: Predominantly granular products like sugar, alt, rice, pulses, tea, coffee, snacks, confectionary, biscuit etc
Marketing Penetration:

Market intelligence on customer industries in scope
Relationship management with customers, coordinating of activities of local and foreign sales & service staff
Reporting to abroad sales entities

Lead Management:

Keeping an overview on potential leads
Assurance of profitable sales pipeline front-loading (priority setting)
Assurance of right-quote to right –customer in right-time

Order Intake Management:

Personal involvement /escalation of critical situations to assure customer’s decision towards Bosch
Strategy development & deployment to achieve OI targets of individual product groups

Machinery Reselling:
Development of new business models to boost local footprint
Strategic Support Activities:

Keep close relationship with 3rd party companies selling within the same value stream like Printer-Suppliers, Film-Suppliers, Carton-Supplier (Target: Lead generation)
Coaching of service activities in East Africa:
Keeping track of installed base and proactive support to service department
Support new machinery sales strategy by stronger involvement of local field service engineers in new machinery installation and commissioning

Your competencies and qualifications:
Education:
Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering Degree
Experience and Skills:

5-7 years experience in sales within food processing and packaging industry
Proven track record in sales of highly priced products
Sound technical understanding of vertical fill form and seal technology

Your personal Characteristics and skills:

Strong communication and negotiating skills
Ability to handle pressure
Good problem solving
Ability to build productive business professional relationships
